Sturry Big Coffee Morning

Sturry group's annual Big Coffee Morning in the Sturry Social Centre was well attended with around 80 people coming and going throughout the morning. Delicious homemade cakes and refreshments were served and there was a raffle, sale of knitted toys and baby wear, ‘Name the Teddy’ and bric-a-brac. It was a happy event with lots of laughter and chatter resulting in the group raising a fantastic £1,300! A generous donation of £1,000 was given by a local lady in memory of her son who had received wonderful care at the Kent and Canterbury Hospital as she wished to show her appreciation. Well done Sturry group for another great fundraising event!
