This year has been highly successful, and our Trustees are delighted that we were able to award grants totalling £290k to enhance patient care at the Kent & Canterbury Hospital as well as designate £491k towards our Radiotherapy treatment fundraising appeal, making a record allocation of gifts of £781k.

5 Radiotherapy Recliner Chairs - To enable patients undergoing radiotherapy to sit more comfortably to ensure their time on the unit is greatly improved. |
Ipads for Speech Therapy - Used for intensive communication therapy for patients, particularly those on the stroke and neuro-rehabilitation wards. |
Robotic Da Vinci Drip in Ultrasound Probe - Used internally during robotic surgery to remove tumours of the kidney. |
Portable Slip Lamp - For ophthalmology to use when it is difficult for young patients and those with limited mobility to reach the traditional table mounted lamp. |
Sonosite PX Ultrasound - this produces advanced image clarity to help clinicians diagnose and treat patients more accurately. |
Christmas Gifting - As is our tradition, over many years, patients in the Kent & Canterbury Hospital over the festival period and children attending appointments in the run up to Christmas are treated to gifts. |
