Lord Mayor and League Chair attend Voice Clinic Stroboscope presentation

The League has donated a high-tech device that allows medics to see close-up images and videos of patients' vocal cords. The £73,000 stroboscope is used by the Ear, Nose and Throat team in the voice clinic. It is already proving a potential lifesaver, as the detailed view meant staff were able to see subtle changes in a patient's throat, and detect cancer at the very earliest stage.
