BBQ Raises significant funds

On a sunny Saturday afternoon in June the Rough Common, Harbledown and Blean group held a BBQ in a group member’s garden. Some 37 guests enjoyed a delicious fruit punch on arrival followed by a choice of barbecued meats and a selection of salads. Finally a variety of desserts made by group members proved very popular with a demand for second portions! Ticket sales and proceeds from the raffle swelled the group's funds by an amazing £574. Thanks go to all group members who worked so hard to make the event such a success.
