Joe Wasson, Consultant ENT Surgeon at K&C Hospital, demonstrated the brand new, state-of-the-art operating microscope the League had recently purchased. Mr Wasson was clearly delighted with the new equipment which meant many patients can now be treated in Canterbury, instead of travelling to Ashford. The £68K microscope allows the surgeon to operate accurately inside the ear, in three dimensions, and has greatly improved the range of operations which can be performed in Canterbury. This is just the sort of gift the League likes to fund, allowing our excellent surgical teams to work to the highest standard.
