Hospital Fair 2019

The League's main annual fundraiser

The League will be holding its annual fair on Saturday 17th August in the K&C Hospital outpatients’ car park.

The fair will be opened by the Lord Mayor of Canterbury, Cllr Terry Westgate, at 11am and will run until 2pm when the grand draw with a top prize of £1,000 will take place.

Featuring again will be the fun dog show with lots of entry categories as well as a children’s art competition, with entries from three local primary schools. New this year will be stalls run by hospital staff offering information on health and wellbeing matters.

In addition to the usual stalls selling books, DVDs, local produce, etc, there will be a wide range of other stalls and entertainments, including a brass band, a coconut shy, Punch and Judy and, especially for the children, a bouncy castle and face painting. Food from the ever popular barbeque, delicious homemade cakes, refreshments and ice cream will also be available.

All funds raised by the fair will be used by the K&CH League of Friends to buy equipment and other gifts hugely benefitting patients, visitors and staff at the hospital. For further information, please call Lynne Bannon on 01227 864030 or email: ekh-tr.leagueoffriends@nhs.net
