Autumn Lunch

On a very wet and blustery Saturday, the City Centre group welcomed 40 stalwart guests to the Age UK Centre for their Autumn Lunch. Despite the inclement weather with pouring rain and blowing a gale, once they had removed their sodden coats they were able to enjoy a delicious turkey lunch followed by fruit crumbles and cream. The group were delighted to welcome the Lord Mayor, President of the League, who introduced himself going round all the tables. Group Chairman, Tricia Shephard, thanked attendees for braving the weather and the Committee for producing such a delicious Lunch. Around £500 was raised which will go towards a Tympanometer, used by the Audiology Dept to diagnose middle ear conditions.
